breathing space

I put this painting project aside for about a year, I didn't feel ready for the amount that I wanted to take on as as a beginner painter. With the craziness of quarantine, I felt the need to go back to it as nothing else really inspired me for my painting final. This is where it currently is at its first layer. It's about 50% complete.
